An Evening Nature Walk at the Sehlendorfer Binnensee
An evening at the Sehlendorfer Binnensee, with that unmistakable Baltic Sea feeling: wind off the coast, wide open water, warm light over the reeds. On this nature walk the little terns were the real highlight – I watched them for a long time as they hovered above the shallows and dropped down after their prey. Just as beautiful was a lapwing wading through the glittering shoreline in backlight. Add cranes in the evening sky, red-breasted mergansers in bright white light and a common tern carrying a fish – an evening full of wonder at God's creation.
