Bonelli's Eagle
Aquila fasciata
Adults show pale, dark-streaked underparts, a broad dark terminal tail band and often a pale patch on the back. Paired birds frequently hunt together, taking prey in a fast stoop.

- Adults are strictly resident and stay in or near their breeding range in winter; young birds disperse more widely. The species does not breed in Central Europe.
