Adonis Blue
Lysandra bellargus
Males are an intense sky-blue above with a fine black edge line, while females are chocolate brown with orange marginal spots on the hindwings. A good identification feature is the white wing fringe, chequered with dark marks where the veins meet it.

- Two generations: roughly mid-May to June and late July to mid-September; the young caterpillar overwinters.
