Lysandra coridon
The males shine in a pale, silvery greenish blue, while the females are mostly dark brown with orange marginal spots. The caterpillars live in close association with ants, which are attracted by a gland on their back.

- In Central Europe one generation a year, flying roughly from late June to August, occasionally into early October.
